Whisperer Solution.
MarketFactory provides an "intra-colo" connectivity solution at Equinix NY2, LD4 and TY3 datacentres. This generally consists of:-
- 2 x single-mode fibre cross connects
- 1G or 10G speeds available
- BGP peering to provide redundant failover paths
- BFD for sub-millisecond failover
The MarketFactory network is a highly available, secure design, encompassing physically redundant hardware along with failover logical paths. Security is achieved at the edge to both clients and venues with Access Control Lists and clients are logically segmented into individual VLAN's, ensuring no "cross-talk". Latency is minimised by using best-in-class switching architectures, coupled with a shortest path design.

Hosted Internet/UAT connectivity model
MarketFactory provides an Internet connectivity model for clients that are tolerant of public infrastructure delivery of services, however this connection method is primarily used for UAT. The clients UAT machine is situated in a DMZ behind our firewalls, located in either LD4 or NY2, and we "whitelist" the client source IP's that will be connecting to the machine.
