The Straight Through Process Booking Feed (or STP Booking Feed) is a MarketFactry MarketFactory service that can be used in collaboration with Whisperer. The STP Booking Feed allows users to automatically enter trades into back-office systems, databases and applications, using the Whisperer platform, or by the export of these trades to external platforms dependant upon the customer's requirementsfrom external trade applications and databases by exporting these trades to Whisperer.

The primary purpose of the STP Booking Feed is to optimise the speed at which transaction processing can be completed. By allowing information to pass along electronically, this eliminates the need for manual entry of data that would have been completed by a dropcopy source. Additionally, information can then be sent to more than one party simultaneously if it is appropriate/or required for the transaction type. trades by customers where an order is executed outside of the Whisperer platform. 

The secondary purpose of the STP Feed is the increased means to monitor credit and risk limits using the MarketFactory API server and the Net Open Position (NOP) interface (this is available to customers using the STP Booking Feed on the MarketFactory portal). The STP Booking Feed optionally updates the Drop Copy Server with the trades received on the Booking Feed reflecting the impact of the trades to the risk limits and credit limits.
