synopsis
The Straight Through Process Booking Feed (or STP Booking Feed) is a MarketFactory service that can be used in collaboration with Whisperer. The STP Booking Feed allows users to automatically enter trades from external trade applications and databases by exporting these trades to Whisperer.
The primary purpose of the STP Booking Feed is to optimise the speed at which transaction processing can be completed. By allowing information to pass along electronically, this eliminates the need for manual entry of trades by customers where an order is executed outside of the Whisperer platform.
The secondary purpose of the STP Feed is the increased means to monitor credit and risk limits using the MarketFactory API server and the Net Open Position (NOP) interface (this is available to customers using the STP Booking Feed on the MarketFactory portal). The STP Booking Feed optionally updates the Drop Copy Server with the trades received on the Booking Feed reflecting the impact of the trades to the risk limits and credit limits.

The STP Booking Feed is strictly available for SBE implementations only, the STP Booking Feed cannot be supported by any version of the classic Whisperer implementation
