Change Overview from Currenex

As recently communicated in the Release notes regarding our upcoming 11.20 release, Currenex has implemented a change/rewrite in the FIX infrastructure of our ESP Maker gateway to bring improvements in performance. While this update will maintain the integrity of tag ordering in repeating groups following the old implementation, we are changing the way we encode and decode fix messages. Thus the ordering of the other fix tags in the body may differ, and there are some stricter validations. If you have been fully conforming to our FIX spec then this will not be an issue. Makers will now receive a 35=3 (due to any parsing errors) or 35=j for any tag validation failures with an explanation in tag 58. Tag58 values will differ for some of the rejects.

We always attempt to maintain backward compatibility with such a change, but we strongly recommend connecting and performing full end-to-end testing in our INT2 environment.

Please notify the Integration support team (IntSupport@eexchange.com) to confirm that your FIX Maker is connected and streaming at least one currency pair in UAT. You may then test against your stream and/or we can as well.
