This is the current API version, which all new clients should use.
Whisperer Classic supports both native and SBE API interfaces
Classic
This is the principle Whisperer Classic API version and provides support for Taker Venues (for making), in addition to Maker/CLOB Venues (for market data and taking functionality).
Supported Languages:
SBE3
Delivery to MFAPI client of prices directly from Feed Handler. This version has basic market data functionality. The SBE protocol decreases encoding, decoding and transmission latency.
The trading interface of the Classic 3.14.0 SBE protocol should not be used. It is best practice to use Classic MFAPI for trading.
API v3.13
This is a legacy Whisperer Classic API version that should not be used for new development. It provides a subset of the current API functionality (taking, and market data services only, no market making).
End of Life
MFAPI v3.13.0 will be formally deprecated by the end of 2019.
