For Customers wanting to establish a cross-connect between customer infrastructure and MarketFactory, both parties must exchange Letters of Authorisation (LOA) giving details of the Colocation, room, cage and rack(s) that house the hardware to be connected. In addition to the details of the fibre and any port preferences (in the case that next available port assignment is not considered suitable).
The MarketFactory Network Engineering team will then coordinate the establishment of the cross-connect and arrange a connectivity test.
To facilitate the network connectivity process, please remember to provide the Network Engineering team with a suitably knowledgeable network contact for the customer infrastructure. |
Whilst the subject of a cross-connect is covered in the Onboarding questionnaire to identify if setup preparations are required, a separate LOA should be sent to [email protected] and [email protected] to coordinate this process.
