Introduction

MarketFactory aims to provide a smooth transition to the use of Whisperer to gain access to financial markets. The first step of which involves enrolment to the onboarding process. Once on the onboarding process, with assistance from MarketFactory's Trading Operations Team. Customers can then be expected to use MarketFactory's Demo/UAT environments to establish connectivity with the API and verify correct function of the API calls and features. MarketFactory will work with the customer throughout onboarding to ensure that the API is being built correctly and used consistently with the API specification and architecture.

MarketFactory requires that all customers wishing to transact as participants within the Forex market using the Whisperer platform to go through the marketFactory Certification process. For validating customer system integration and functionality prior to connecting and transacting within the market. Certification acts to ensure that the processing and messaging reliability in addition to the ability to gracefully recover in the event of abnormal message processing events.

In order to connect and begin testing within the Demo environment please visit the following link: MarketFactory Portal where registering will allow you to request and initiate the configuration of your network connection for the Demo environment.

• Customers are invited to discuss connection options with their Account manager.
• Customers can also request the setup UAT connections from venues they wish to trade with, once they have access to the Demo environment to perform functional testing using the Whisperer platform.

Demo/UAT Environment

The Demo/UAT environment where certification takes place mirrors the production environment as closely as reasonably possible, with the intention to;

• Certify core functionality
• Perform maintenance testing
• Perform Development testing for new features in Production-like conditions

Once a customer is able to demonstrate successful use of the MarketFactory API within this environment then provisions for the establishment of a production environment will begin.
