Background
In response to CFTC Rules Rewrite Phase II and EMIR Refit regulatory reporting requirements, several market participants are enhancing their APIs to disseminate new regulatory fields to help fulfill their clients' regulatory obligations. To this effect, MarketFactory will introduce a new schema.

Change
- A new version of Whisperer schema <version #> will be introduced to handle UPI [Unique Product Identifier] and RTN [Report Tracking Number] regulatory fields.
- MarketFactory is working with several market participants we connect to who support non-Spot products to confirm whether their APIs are upgraded to comply with the upcoming regulatory requirements. Inputs from the market participants are vital to help shape the new version of Whisperer schema.
Timeline
- 15th November - UAT - Whisperer schema <> will be available in UAT.
- 30th November - Prod - Launch of Whisperer schema <>.
Whisperer Client Impact
Discretionary Impact
Clients trading non-Spot products on the aforementioned Affected Venues will start to receive UPI and/ or RTN regulatory fields.
Clients should ensure their systems [downstream systems including] are able to process the UPI and RTN info published.
