This page provides an overview of the Whisperer network architecture. MarketFactory has a presence within the three major FX Co-Locations (colos) LD4, NY2 and TY3, the diagram below provides baseline latency figures for packet transit time between centres:

The diagram below is a very simplified summary of the MarketFactory network architecture within a given colo, with further details on the specifics of the network topology available on request.

A typical message flow involves the following path:

A) A liquidity message leaves the Venue.

B) It arrives at the MarketFactory Arista switch within the data centre

C) It is forwarded to the venue Feed Handler where it is translated to the normalised MFAPI representation.

D) The message then transits to the customer infrastructure.
