Introduction

MarketFactory clients integrate with Whisperer via a Java, C++ or C# API, or by direct integration to the SBE messaging layer, to access the trading venues of their choice. All new clients will be assigned a dedicated UAT environment to enable them to test their own application against Whisperer and the venues behind. Once this stage of the process has finished, the client will be required to participate in a Certification Test with MarketFactory. Successful completion of this test is a pre-requisite to the client moving into the production Whisperer environment. The Certification process is designed to ensure both the Client and MarketFactory systems integrate correctly at a functional and non-functional level to an acceptable standard, so that both parties are confident they can proceed with the live implementation. Once clients are live in the production environment, there may also be a requirement occasionally for re-certification, as described below.

MarketFactory expects Clients to have performed their own Quality Assurance (QA) testing in addition to the certification scenarios listed on this page.

Certification Sign-off is required by the Client's project / business sponsor responsible for the integration to MarketFactory.
